TORONTO, CANADA, August 28, 2009 /Art and Artists PR News/ -- Copyright Creators (www.copyrightcreators.com) a leading provider for online copyright registration has announced its contribution of $104,000 in copyright registrations for the top 1000 winners of Talent Seekers (www.talentseekers.net), an international contest born with the aim of discovering and promoting the most outstanding artists in their respective fields.
"With nearly 4,000 authors from 85 different countries already entered, along with the prestigious jury panel, we are very excited to help sponsor the discovery of some of the most talented artists of 2009," says Shehan A. Jinapriya, Co-Founder and President of Copyright Creators.
Developed with the intention of building an international network of cultural, artistic and media professionals who can help each other with their respective projects, as well as work together to discover and promote new talent, Talent Seekers has already attracted top professionals for their jury including: John Dimon, an Emmy winning producer of well known television programs such as Wayne and Shuster, Fraggle Rock, and Strawberry Ice, as well as Jimmy Destri, a founding member of the rock group Blondie and inductee to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (2006).
The public will establish the 100 finalists in each of the 10 artistic divisions including: Photography, Painting/Drawing/Engraving, Digital Art/Net Art, Film/Video/Animation, Sculpture, Music, Literature/Philosophy/Journalism, Installations/Performance Art, Web Design/Graphic Design, and 'Free Category' including architecture/design/fashion, etc. before the jury cast their final votes in January 2010.
Public voting will end on December 31st, 2009, and can be done on the Talent Seekers website. An author belonging to any of the 10 disciplines of the contest can participate and will be assessed by the whole of their work exhibited on their web page in the category of their presentation. This process will culminate in an extensive International publicity campaign to promote the winners.
"Our intention is to join forces with other organizations in order to obtain shared objectives, including the distribution of news and the promotion of the most outstanding creative talent. We know from experience of the difficulty of becoming known through the Internet, because of its fragmentation. To solve this problem, different on-line collectives will share our respective audiences in benefit of all our associated professionals. The result will hopefully be a new concept in cooperation and media communication", says Arturo Tirador, director of Talent Seekers.
