Aaron Brothers, Inc. Announces the Winners of its "Show Us Your America" Art and Photo Contest
Carrie Mundy from San Diego selected as favorite photographer and Deborah Argyropoulos from Marina del Rey chosen as favorite artist.
DALLAS, TEXAS, October 12, 2009 / -- Aaron Brothers Art & Framing has announced the winners of its "Show Us Your America" Art and Photo Contest. Carrie Mundy from San Diego, California was selected as favorite photographer for her submission, Morning Surfers, and Deborah Argyropoulos from Marina del Rey, California was chosen as favorite artist for her work, Memories.
The winners were chosen from twenty finalists in two categories; ten artwork finalists and ten photography finalists. After online voting ended Friday, October 2, 2009, Aaron Brothers tallied over 11,000 votes received during the seventeen-day voting period. "We were thrilled to receive so many creative, patriotic art and photography submissions," said Jim King, Aaron Brothers General Manager. "This contest shows that there is such a talented pool of artists and photographers in our country and we are very proud of the contest winners."
