Sandy Sherman Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Sandy Sherman has been featured in many art shows and her artwork is spread nationally
STODDARD, NH, October 2, 2009 /Art and Artists PR News/ -- Sandy Sherman, Artist of Studios at Crescent Pond, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in the arts.
With a specialization in still life and landscape painting, Ms. Sherman paints in oils. She exhibits her artwork and was invited to display it with the Guild of Boston Artists at the The Harvard Club of Boston. Her husband is a well-known portrait artist and has served as her mentor.
Ms. Sherman has received numerous awards for her artwork, including the Member's Award for Graphics and for Oil Painting from the Academic Artists Association, the Ida Becker Fund Award for Graphics from Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club and the Merit Award for Painting from Sharon Arts Center. She was also nominated to participate in the Artist in the Next Century Program by Fine Art Connoisseur and was a finalist in The Artist's Magazine art competition in 2002. In the future, she intends to work on several larger art pieces that she has recently sketched out.
