The Green Dot Awards extends submission deadline November 1, 2009
The second annual Green Dot Awards extends its submission deadline for the 2009 competition until November 1, 2009.
LOS ANGELES, CA, October 08, 2009 /Art and Artists PR News/ -- The Green Dot Awards is an annual, international award competition that recognizes businesses, entrepreneurs, designers and innovators that are focused on creating projects, products and services that honor the environment.
The 2008 competition brought in submissions from all over the world. The first annual gala event held on Earth Day in Los Angeles sold out to hundreds of local green business owners, community supporters, eco-fashionistas and ecoinnovators, including all of the first place award winners who traveled from Italy, Brazil, London, Ireland, Africa and from all over the United States to accept their award.
A jury of esteemed environmental entrepreneurs, business owners, educators, design, media and entertainment professionals will vote on entries in categories such as Transportation, Design, Build, Products, Services, Entertainment + Culture and Concept.
The 2009 Green Dot Awards gala will be held in April 2010 in Los Angeles. Award winners will be announced in January 2010.
