Anne H. Kormes Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals
Anne H. Kormes has been an artist her whole life
DELRAY BEACH, FL, November 23, 2009 /Art and Artists PR News/ -- Anne H. Kormes, Artist, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in graphic arts.
As an independent artist, Ms. Kormes specializes in typesetting and graphic design. On a regular basis, she is responsible for painting designs including scenes of nature, abstract designs and flowers using acrylic paints, crayons and pencils. She previously worked for publication companies and owned a graphic art studio. She attributes her success to her talent and to the support she receives from her family members, who are also artistically active.
Ms. Kormes received her bachelor of arts in art and design from the Cooper Union in 1947 and completed coursework at CUNY Hunter College in 1942. A recipient of the Saint Gauden's Medal for Art Achievement, she supports the local animal rescue organization, the local chapter of the United Jewish Appeal Federation and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. She is currently the editor and publisher of the "Waterway's News" which serves the community she resides in on a monthly basis.
