J. M. Janda Honored for Excellence in Fine Art
J. M. Janda celebrates nearly 30 years in the arts
DENVER, CO, November 2, 2009 /Art and Artists PR News/ -- J. M. Janda, President and Owner of J. M. Janda's Bozar (beaux-arts), has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in fine art.
With 28 years of professional experience as an artist, J. M. Janda specializes in watercolors, acrylics and oil painting as well as experimental paintings using spray paint. As the president and owner of J. M. Janda's Bozar (beaux-arts), she is responsible for managing her website that features seven galleries. Ms. Janda spent two years in Brussels, Belgium, where she attended the prestigious L'Academie Royale des Beaux-Arts and traveled extensively throughout Europe visiting art museums. She is currently doing sketches of nude figures and laying watercolors down on them. Looking ahead, she intends to begin sculpting using wood. Also an award-winning photographer, the prices of her pieces range from 25 to 4,500 dollars. She attributes her success to her stamina and ability to accept rejection.
Ms. Janda holds a master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri, earned in 1977 and a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, earned in 1971. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Women for 2009-2010 and serves on the board of directors of the International Society of Photographers, which featured two of her photographs in their Hall of Fame. Also a writer, she received honorable mention for a short story by "Writer's Digest" and intends to focus more on writing short stories as well as her autobiography.
