ArtReview: January & February Issue Out Now

The January & February issue of ArtReview marks the magazine's third annual artist's publication. This month LA-based artist Paul McCarthy has produced a 164-page journal, 'Pig Island', which is bound to every copy of the print magazine.

LONDON, ENGLAND, January 13, 2010 /Art and Artists PR News/ -- To coincide with this, Mark Rappolt takes a trundle through McCarthy's cultural jungle. Elsewhere, Vincent Katz meets Kiki Smith as she prepares for yet another major museum show (this one in New York), while Brian Dillon considers the work of Maurizio Cattelan as it goes on show at the Menil Collection. Back in Europe, Christian Boltanski talks about gambling with his life, Chris Sharp experiences Nina Canell's weird science, and we visit Copenhagen to find out why it's one of the most up-and-coming art centres in Europe.

Plus the unparalleled range of voices from ArtReview's regular columns: Martin Herbert tells you what shows to see in Now See This...; Matthew Collings chats to Courbet in his Oral History of Art; Christian Viveros-Faune explains why he won't be getting hot under the collar about controversy at the New Museum; J.J. Charlesworth tries to pretend it doesn't matter who won the Turner Prize; and our scathing satirist on the inside, Gallery Girl, provides six trusty tips for artworld success.
