Artspace To Host Community Youth Outreach Programs

Raleigh Nonprofit Visual Art Center To Offer Outreach Programs Addressing Individuality And World Cultures

    RALEIGH, NC, March 31, 2010 /Art and Artists PR News/ -- Mary Poole, executive director of Artspace (www.artspacenc.org), has announced that the visual art center will hold two community outreach programs in the upcoming months. "Inside Out, Outside In," a program addressing individuality, will take place at the Boys & Girls Club - Brentwood on Monday nights from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. April12 through May 10. "Storytelling through Puppetry," a program emphasizing world cultures, will take place at the Salvation Army of Wake County April 12 through 16 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Artspace Outreach Program began in the fall of 2001 to fill the community's need for constructive opportunities for Raleigh's youth.
