Sketch Maven Debuts at WonderCon with iPads and an Artwork Giveaway
Sketch Maven, the World's Greatest Original Comic Art Marketplace, will make their first appearance at San Francisco's WonderCon. They will be giving away framed comic artwork and allowing guests to browse their website on the new Apple iPad.
SANTA CLARA, CA, April 02, 2010 /Art and Artists PR News/ -- Every year over 30,000 comic book fans and entertainment buffs from across the US converge on San Francisco for one of the world's biggest comic conventions. For the first time, the internet's best online marketplace for original comic art, Sketch Maven, will have a presence at WonderCon. WonderCon will be held April 2-4 at the Moscone Center in downtown San Francisco.
Sketch Maven will have several computer stations at their booth, allowing users to browse their comic art marketplace and buy and sell artwork. Starting Saturday, visitors also will be able to browse the site from the new Apple iPad. "The iPad may be the precursor of how we use computers and even read comic books in the future," comments Mike Todasco, founder of Sketch Maven. "We want to give our fans a first chance to browse our website using this new technology."
In addition, Sketch Maven will also give away a professionally framed piece of art from WonderCon special guest, Ethan Van Sciver. "We are happy to be able to give away this beautiful art from one of the premier artists in the industry," said Mike Todasco. "The splash page we are giving away from DC Comics' Flash: Rebirth will look great hanging on the wall of any comic fan!"
Sketch Maven will be located at Booth #1346 at WonderCon, near the Artist Alley. Todasco adds, "We have built a large following for Sketch Maven in the last four months and look forward to meeting fans in person."
