Hayes Fine Arts & Angel Heaven Opens First Store in Chesterfield Mall, Chesterfield MO
Hayes Fine Arts & Angel Heaven is now open and will host its Grand Opening on Saturday November 6th from 10 a.m. till 7 p.m. The store is located on the lower level of Chesterfield Mall, in Chesterfield MO.
ST. LOUIS, MO, September 30, 2010 /Art and Artists PR News/ -- Company launches NEW store, unveils fine arts gallery and an entertainingly interactive retail space for children ages 3+, all in one location. Hayes Fine Arts' Angel Heaven is a unique retail destination that was designed to stimulate the child's imagination through the ongoing series of Curlee Cool storybooks. Curlee Cool is an adventuresome yellow cat that invents a way to fly into outer space and discovers new worlds. Angel Heaven is just one of the incredible worlds he discovers. The stories' many characters come to life in the form of stuffed angel dolls with collectable wings, animals, online games, music, gifts and more. The Angel Heaven section of the store also offers customized birthday parties where children dress-up in angel wings and halos then receive an art lesson on how to paint an abstract self-portrait taught by St. Louis artist and author Sharon M Hayes. The store and stories are the vision of nationally known artist, author and designer, Sharon M Hayes. "It was important to develop stories and characters that encourage children to use their imagination, instill positive thinking, and good manners. Growing up in a family of eleven forced my imagination and creative abilities to the forefront at a very young age and that was an incredible blessing," says Hayes.
The most immediately striking element of the Angel Heaven dolls and plush animals are their eye's as this is the creative trademark of Ms. Hayes' style used throughout her paintings and books. "Children are attracted to the "Sweet Dreams" poem and the "look" of the dolls as much as the "comforting" notion that they now have a friend who will help them get through a night of bad dreams. We also have parents who purchase angel dolls to comfort a child with separation anxiety or for bereavement. It's a great feeling to know that you have created comfort for someone," says Hayes. The angel designs span a range of cultures with a wide variety of wings available including Breast Cancer and Digital Camouflage for a Military related child. Book one titled: "Curlee Cool Takes Flight!" is available in-store now, with book two on shelf by the holiday season. The CurleeCool.com website will officially launch in early 2011. It will also be a family entertainment destination.
