Jo Shepherd Ripley has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her spectacular work in the Publishing Industry.

SPRINGBORO, OH, October 26, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Jo Shepherd Ripley has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her spectacular work in the Publishing Industry. As President of J Shepherd Ripley Studio LLC, Jo has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.

Jo is a publisher and author of children's stories and films. She is also a visual artist, teacher, creativity coach and artistic adviser. She attributes her success to the fact that she loves to learn and investigate as well as share what she loves and to be involved with creative and interesting people.

In 2009, Jo published a book entitled Jolly the Elf. She originally wrote the story 45 years ago for her oldest daughter Dee. It is a story for all ages about an elf who knew that Santa would have a hard time making all the toys and visiting all the boys and girls to remind them to be on their best behavior. Jolly advises Santa to have some of the elves visit the children's homes from Thanksgiving until Christmas Eve before returning to the North Pole to help Santa and the other elves load the sleigh with all the wonderful toys they made.

During her educational career, Jo attended the University of Kansas. She is the Founder of the American Fauvism Society. Jo teaches the "Artists Way Workshop" and speaks locally on "The Step Families." Jo is the proud mother of 11. In the time away from her busy schedule, she greatly enjoys painting.
