Diana S.J. Adams to be Profiled in Exclusive Registry
Diana Adams founded Studio Diana Art & Photography in 1987
Fairfax, VA, December 9, 2010 /Art and Artists PR News/ -- Diana S.J. Adams, owner of Studio Diana Art & Photography, has been recognized by Cambridge who's who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in photography.
With 23 years of professional experience, Ms. Adams is a highly-regarded photographer. She creates fine-art portraits of children and families, and her studio also covers weddings. She gravitated towards photography because her parents were artistically inclined, and she attributes her success to her own tenacity and talent. She donates at least 40 free portrait sessions each year to charities and fundraisers that benefit children.
For relaxation, Ms. Adams paints. Two of Ms. Adams' paintings are currently displayed in the lobby of Freddie Mac in New York City.
Ms. Adams has created a series of pop-art photographs using Pez dispensers and other small toys. These large photographs can be seen on Facebook and her pop-art website www.padagallery.com. She has also been working on a large personal art photography project called "Studio on Main Street" consisting of large B&W portraits of people who live and work on Main Street, where her studio is located. These portraits are currently on display at Cinema Arts Theatre in Fairfax City. Diana Adams' art work is represented by The Adam Lister Gallery.
A graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in film studies and creative writing in 1970. Ms. Adams is a member of the Professional Photographers of America and TAG artist group.
Studio Diana has been voted one of the top D.C. area studios by Washingtonian Magazine every single year since 1998. In the future, Diana hopes to teach more seminars through The Modern Portrait to aid photographers in creating successful businesses. She is in business with her two daughters, Justine and Lauren Ungaro.
