Nancy Schumacher Honored for Accomplishments by Cambridge Who's Who
"Unraveling the Spider's Net" set to release this March, says Schumacher
NEW HAVEN, CT, March 25, 2010 /Art and Artists PR News/ -- Nancy Schumacher, Author, Artist and Beauty Consultant, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of her career.
Possessing nearly five decades of professional expertise, Nancy Schumacher is a celebrated author, artist and beauty consultant. This March will mark the release of her new book, "Unraveling the Spider's Net," an account of a family's struggle with epilepsy, depression and Parkinson's disease. The book's companion, titled "Surviving the Spider's Net," was published in 2004. Schumacher is also the author of "The Fight of the Swallow: Tales of Persons with Misunderstood Neurological Disorders," which outlines cerebral palsy, epilepsy and Friedrich's Ataxia. A medical author, she has submitted medical papers and art in 21 European and Asian countries including China, Australia and Malaysia.
In addition to her publishing endeavors, Schumacher distributes Mary Kay beauty products as an independent beauty consultant. Crediting her success to hard work, she will seek to increase her profit margin as she moves forward with the company.
Schumacher holds a master's degree in psychology from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor of arts in education from Texas Woman's University. She also earned a bachelor of fine arts from Southern Connecticut State University. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology at Walden University, she is a member of the Epilepsy Foundation of Connecticut, American Epilepsy Society and International Society of Intellectual Disabilities. In her free time, Schumacher likes to watercolor.
