Robert Mateo Diago switches gears from commercial to contemporary art
Dallas TX, May 21, 2010 /Art and Artists PR News/ -- Robert Mateo Diago, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating, leadership and excellence in design.
After twenty years of graphics, advertising and brand development work for such companies as the American Heart Association, Staubach Retail and other national brands such at Temerlian Mclain advertising, Robert Mateo Diago (dba Diago Design) has changed the focus of his work to contemporary art.
The switch to full time art allows him to utilize his successful conceptual abilities and creative direction skills for his own work. In addition to his popular landscape-based paintings he is currently working with other media including assemblage, photography and typography. His first major exhibition "home•less•bound•ness; and other transient ideas" is scheduled for this August at Kolok Gallery, North Adams, MA.
A graduate of the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Robert Mateo Diago is a member of the McKinney Avenue Contemporary, Dallas Contemporary, ArtHouse, Dallas Arts Revue and other art organizations.
