AKRON, OH, June 10, 2010 /Art and Artists PR News/ -- Lynda A. Curry-Huston, former Art Instructor for the Cuyahoga Falls City Schools, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.

Specializing in multi-media, Ms. Curry-Huston has an emphasis in graphic design, printmaking, and multi-dimensional perspective. Ms. Curry-Huston has been involved in education for 23 years. At the Cuyahoga Falls City School District, she began her career as a Vocational Commercial Art teacher. Ending her career back at Curry-Huston High School, Ms. Curry-Huston taught the ART-I Introductory class, Printmaking, Commercial Art One and Two and Experimental Drawing. When the Cuyahoga Falls City School District began an experimental Theatre Arts program, Ms. Curry-Huston participated with Theatre Tech and Scenic Artist classes. Ms. Curry-Huston served as an Officer in the Cuyahoga Falls Education Association and as a member on numerous district committees. She attributes her success to her perseverance and drive to provide public school students with excellent art education programs.

Ms. Curry-Huston received a Master of Arts in Theater, majoring in Theatre Tech. She then took a year off to be a graduate assistant. Her position was to be the Scenic Artist, for all theatre performances. Her Thesis Project was to create the set design for the play "The Fox."
