Macklin to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of his extraordinary effort in the arts. As a Sculptor and Owner of Ken Macklin Studios, as well as throughout his brilliant 30 year career, Ken has consistently displayed the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Mr. Macklin is a sensational sculptor with extraordinary artistic abilities who provides clients with commissioned works. He possesses exceptional expertise with steel, concrete, bronze and ceramic sculptures. Ken has been the recipient of numerous awards for his work including a Canada Council Travel Grant, multiple Alberta Culture Project Grants and a Canada Council/Alberta Creative Development Initiative Grant. He has also participated in various exhibitions where he does his own commentary.
During his educational career, Ken earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with Distinction from the University of Alberta. He also took Advanced Studies at St. Martins School of Art in London, England. Mr. Macklin also studied at Banff School of Fine Arts and participated in an Emma Lake Workshop led by Sir Anthony Caro.
