Sandra Lee Freeman Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Public Relations
Sandra Lee Freeman recognized for lifelong religious service through public relations
FORT WORTH, TX, August 26, 2010 /Art and Artists PR News/ -- Sandra Lee Freeman, CEO of Nona's Book Sales, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in public relations.
At the age of nine, Sandra Lee Freeman traveled to Africa with her parents and four younger siblings. So strong were the religious convictions of her mother and father that the couple spent the next 41 years as missionaries in that continent, returning to the United States on vacation only every five to seven years. Following her father's passing in 1999, Sandra's mother, Nona Freeman, continued to travel, preach and speak, dedicating a total of 70 years of religious service to date. Considered to be a "Mother Theresa" of sorts, Nona Freeman is beloved throughout the Pentecostal community.
Today, Ms. Freeman manages her mother's public appearances, handles the sale of her 22 published books through Nona's Book Sales, maintains her accounts and oversees all her travel arrangements. This year will mark her 12th year as CEO of Nona's Book Sales, augmenting her 31 years of professional experience in public relations. Like her mother, Ms. Freeman is a lifelong missionary for the Pentecostal Church and utilizes her management and communications talents to support the work of her mother, who has made such a large contribution in the name of God.
Nona Freeman's books include "Unseen Hands: The Story of Revival in Ethiopia," "Bug & Nona on the Go," "Beloved Wide Spot," "Misty's Black Tunnel" and "Shoutin' on the Hills."
