Dorothy Pritchett Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Program Analysis and Management

Dorothy Pritchett brings 45 years of experience to the U.S. Energy Information Administration

    WASHINGTON, DC, September 08, 2010 /Art and Artists PR News/ -- Dorothy Pritchett, Management Analyst for the United States Department of Energy, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in program analysis and management.

With 45 years of professional experience, Dorothy Pritchett has enjoyed successes in multiple industries from program analysis to journalism. Since 1995, she has lent her talents to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, where she puts her diverse background to excellent use. She functions as a management analyst, entrusted with managing human resources, writing modules and procedures, overseeing staff and the internship program for college students, and recruiting new personnel. The recipient of an honorary award from Blacks in Government, Ms. Pritchett considers serving her country to be the most rewarding aspect of her career. She attributes her success in this endeavor to her upbringing, her faith in God, and the support that she receives from her parents.

A true jack of all trades, Ms. Pritchett has also built a name for herself as a songwriter and singer. She recently published one of her songs, "Christmas Without You," and looks forward to publishing her second, "Listen to Your Heart." She plans to collaborate with young people in music production in the future.

Ms. Pritchett earned her bachelor of science, with a concentration in business studies, in 1963 from Tennessee State University, Nashville. Her professional affiliations include The Federal Club and Blacks in Government.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration is a government agency that provides statistics, data and analysis on resources, supply, production and consumption for all energy sources.
