Jean Henry Mead celebrates 42 years as a writer of fiction and nonfiction
Casper, WY, September 21, 2010 /Art and Artists PR News/ -- Jean Henry Mead has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in fiction and nonfiction writing.
With 42 years of experience, Jean Henry Mead is responsible for writing and editing fiction and nonfiction books. Ms. Henry Mead began her writing career in 1968 as a news reporter in California, and worked as a news editor, photographer, magazine and small press editor. Her first book was published in 1982 and she has since published nine nonfiction books and four novels. Her magazine articles have been published domestically as well as abroad under the names Jean Mead and S. Jean Mead, her novels as Jean Henry Mead and Jean Henry.
Her latest release, Diary of Murder, is the second novel in her Logan & Cafferty mystery/suspense series; her latest nonfiction book, Mysterious Writers, a collection of interviews with famous mystery writers, including Elmore Leonard, Carolyn Hart and Jeffrey Deaver. She has published three additional books of interviews, featuring politicians (including Dick Cheney), actors, screenwriters and ordinary people who accomplished extraordinary things. She taught in the Poetry in the Schools Program and served as national publicity director and later secretary-treasurer for Western Writers of America. She has held various volunteer positions in other organizations, including Press Women, Wyoming Writers, YMCA youth programs and scouting. She has also taught volunteer writing classes on the Internet and features interviews with mystery writers at her Mysterious Writers blog. Ms. Henry Mead is a member of MWA, WWA, WWW, SIC and WWI.
