Judy D. LeClaire Honored for Excellence in Youth Development

Judy D. LeClaire Specializes in Nurturing Leadership Qualities in Children and Teens

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK, September 24, 2010 /Art and Artists PR News/ -- Judy D. LeClaire, Teen Director & Recreation Specialist for Tinker Youth Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of youth development. She would like to dedicate this honor to the loving memory of her mother, Norma LeClaire (11/8/27-2/13/08).

Ms. LeClaire has 27 years of experience in working with teenagers. She lends her expertise to Tinker Youth Center, a facility dedicated to nurturing leadership qualities in children and teens by offering a variety of educational, social, recreational and physical programs. Ms. LeClaire began her career as a sheet metal worker at Tinker Air Force Base and made the transition to recreation specialist because she wanted to work with the youth. She attributes her success to her upbringing and the support that she receives from her family.

In addition to her work for Tinker Youth Center, Ms. LeClaire is an aspiring writer. She has published some of her poems and is currently working on a book about her mother entitled, "My Mother, My Child." She graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science in Health, Physical Education and Recreation. She aspires to publish her book and sell her crafts and ceramics.
