FLUSHING, NY, January 29, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Maya J. Camou has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her exceptional effort in the Architecture, Design and Education industries. As a Sustainability Consultant and Owner of Maya 3 Design, Maya has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Maya is a LEED AP and Sustainability Consultant with a background in interior design and design management. She is an eco-design enthusiast who firmly believes that green building is the future of the architecture and construction industries and that it should be second nature to business practices and intent. Maya's creative vision and understanding of the business environment has made her a great leader and a dedicated manager.
During her educational career, Maya earned a Master's degree in Design Management from Birmingham University. She is a member of the U.S Green Building Council, the NYC Chapter of the Urban Green Council, and the NYC Million Trees Initiative. She was the recipient of a 2010 Service Award from the Urban Green Council, NYC Chapter. In addition, Maya is a talented artist who greatly enjoys painting.
