Roxanne Minchin Appears In The Ranks Of Stanford Who's Who
Stanford Who's Who welcomes Ms. Roxanne Jennifer Minchin to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of her exceptional effort in the Arts.
KATOOMBA, NSW, AUSTRALIA, September 8, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who welcomes Ms. Roxanne Jennifer Minchin to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of her exceptional effort in the Arts. As Owner and Manager of Roxanne Minchin Galleries, as well as throughout her brilliant professional career, Roxanne has routinely demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best fine artists in Australia.
Roxanne is an internationally acclaimed artist whose vibrant paintings of the NSW outback have gained the recognition that she deserves. Using a "photo-real" style of painting, she is regarded as one of Australia's best-known female artists and aims to have a solo exhibition in London. During her career, she has been awarded with "Business Woman of the Year" and has been appointed as an Australia Day Ambassador by the Australia Day Council. Roxanne's late husband Eric helped to establish Broken Hill as an international art center, with artists Hugh Shultz, John Pickup, Jack Absalom and Pro Hart, a group he called the Brushmen of the Bush.
Ms. Minchin has participated in over 250 exhibitions. She has been the winner of dozens of competitions run by Australian print media organizations and her work has been featured in numerous major publications nationally and internationally, including Readers Digest, R M Williams, New Idea, and the Australasia Post. Roxanne has also appeared on a multitude of television programs including; Sunrise, The Great Outdoors, Getaway, Postcards, Good Morning Sydney, Totally Wild, Discovery, The Big Arvo and various other documentaries.
